Hi, I’m Ciarán, a PhD candidate in Economics at University College Dublin (UCD). My research is in the economics of education, using quasi-experimental methods and machine learning to study questions such as how school subject choices shape the STEM gender gap and how on-campus housing supply affects student outcomes.
Previously, I completed an MSc in Economics at Maynooth University (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Business Studies at Dublin City University (First Class Honours).
You can find my full CV here and my research on the Research page.
